Recently I heard a bit of a classroom exchange with a young professor who said that the main thing that had changed in music over the past several decades was accessibility.
Didn't people always carry their voices around with them?  Didn't people used to sing (or whistle) when they felt the urge for music?
When was the last time you heard someone sing on the street, while waiting for the elevator, or just -- you know?
When was the last time YOU sang or whistled?
Put those little ear buds away and sing, sing, sing!
And whenever you hear someone sing thank them.
